*Friendship*

There are certain people in my life that I can't live without. People who are there for me no matter what. People who will go the extra mile and or miles for me, who support me through emotional difficulties. People who often sacrifice something of his or her own (usually their time and resources) in order to help me when I'm in need.

These people are my friends, I can't live without them, and these poems are for them

*Best Friends*

Best friends until the end
Take a hold of your heart
On them you can depend
And you will never grow apart

Keep each other close
Never let the friendship go
As it continuously grows
For you will always know

That they will never let you fall
They will be there for you
Good times, or bad times, through it all
To do everything they can do

To make you feel your best
Happiness they will provide
They will make you feel blessed
To have such a friend by your side

For that is I feel
About the friends I hold so dear
Because I know their friendship is real
I'm joyful when they are near

 *Confide in a Friend* 

When your tired and worn
At the end of the day
And things just don't seem
To be going your way

When even your patience
Has come to its end
Try taking time out
To confide in a friend

Perhaps he too may
Have walked the same road
With a much trouble heart
And burdensome load

To find peace and comfort
Some what near the end
When he stopped long enough
To confide in a friend

For there are most welcome
A few words of cheer
For someone who willingly
Lends you an ear

No troubles exsist
That time can not mend
But to get quick relief
Just confide in a friend

When I first met you
I couldn't believe my eyes
Your friendship was so true
No matter what, time flies

So many years have gone by
And we still talk to day
Oh how it makes me wonder why
We talk in that special way

You make me feel the joy
You bring along my way
My sorrows and pain you destroy
Each and every single day

Just to let you know
To you I send this to
Our friendship will always grow
So I just want to say Thank You
