Poetry, Photography, & More

 *OMG*

One day I was talking to a friend of mine on MSN and he is a writer as well and he sorta gave me what I guess you can call an "assignment". He wanted me to wrote a poem for him..a love poem but not a normal love poem. He told me it didn't matter what the details of it was (that was up to me) and he didn't care how long it was (that was up to me as well)

So after 3 days of work, and time, and effort, and LOTS of boredom...I wrote him a 5 paged poem about two people falling in love...the guy was normal and average and the girl was not from the same planet and had a unique power. it sounds pretty basic...but it has a little twist...

(I wonder how many people will actully take the time to read a 5 paged poem but if you do I thank you)

 *Untitled (at the moment)*

Two completely different people
Fall in love with each other
Both from two different worlds
Wanting to live one way or another

This is a story of a love
One unexpected and confusing
While they are thrown together
No one knows what their tale will bring

Scott is just your average guy
Not knowing where his life may lead
Living just an average life
Little to know that life will soon recede

Naka lives a very troubled life
Her world is much diverse
Her powers control her fate
Some say it’s even her curse

On a bright summer day
Scott sat in the middle of Luna Park
Looking out cross the pond
He suddenly sees a red spark

Naka then appears out of nowhere
Clothed in a plain sky blue dress
She seems to be searching
But without any success

Scott gets up from the bench
Slowing walking around the pond
Watching her so curiously
Waiting for her respond

Their eyes then finally meet
The crystal blue eyes of hers stare back
He swallows hard unable to speak
Noticing her long hair was jet black

Her smile brought him to a stop
It was like the heavens smiling from above
As he took a deep breath to smile in return
Not knowing inside of him grew love

Ending the moment they had
She turned to walk away
She mustn’t forget what she came to do
She had orders she must obey

Sitting back down he couldn’t help but wonder
Who was she and why did she come here
He knew she was not from around town
But why did she just turn to disappear

Completing what she was ordered to do
Naka enters the little apt to which she was assigned
And looks out the big glass window in the living room
Little does she know her and Scott’s paths are to once again intertwine

The phone abruptly rings
Knowing who calls, she picks up the phone
“It is time,” a familiar voice says
“To kill the man your vision shown”

Receiving the fax of the picture her boss was to send
She thought of ways to kill this foe
Looking at the photograph, she remembers
“It’s him” she exclaimed…how did she not know

Shock and misunderstanding swept over her
She didn’t understand the reason
Why she had to kill him, why of all people is it him
Why this man’s fate was brought to treason

Ignoring her feelings she set out on her mission
“I have to do it” she thought
“I have to hate him, I have to kill”
And out for him, she sought

Scott sits in the little corner store
Uploading to his website
He had no clue what was about to happen
With no idea that he might be dead by the end of that tonight

Naka notices him instantly
His hair, his style, and the same look
That he had on his face when she saw him in the park
Feeling doubt with every step she took

Unexpectedly, Scott then looks up
And catches her eye as he did already once that day
He then manages to say “it’s you, from earlier…Hi”
Knowing what she had to do, Naka looks away

“I’m Scott” holding out his hand as he announces
Not sure what she should do, she cautiously shook his hand
“Naka” she replied softly while looking up at him
Things surely had not gone as she planned

All of a sudden the flash comes to Naka
A vision that showed her Scotts demise
Overtaken by the horror, she fell to her knees
As tears began to fill her eyes

Slightly confused Scott keeled to help her
“Are you alright” he began to request
She gasped in fright at his touch
In her mind she had to protest

“How could I be ordered to kill this man...
…and in such a cruel way” she couldn’t help but to question
She brushed the thought aside
And tried to show no expression

Scott then helped her to her feet
“I’ll get you a doctor if you need it”
Standing up she assured him she was okay
“No its fine” she tried to admit

He walked her to his house
Not knowing if she had a place to stay
She seemed pale and weary he could tell
And He couldn’t let her stay that way

He told her to lay down if she needed
A nap couldn’t possibly hurt
She didn’t refuse, she took his offer
But minutes later she woke up in alert

Finding him sitting there watching her
she thought,“What is he doing”, she was perplexed
“I hope you’re feeling better” responding to her puzzled look
He wondered what was to happen next

She had to confess, there was something he should know
“I was doing fine with my job… that is until…”
He didn’t understand so he waited for her to finish
“…I found out that it’s you I have to kill.”

Frozen in pure, udder shock
Scott didn’t know what to say
Naka felt horrible, she felt the worst
As she saw him back away

“I’m sorry” she said
“I didn’t know it was you”
Scott swallowed hard nervously
And asked “So what are you going to do?”

Something about him draws her
She didn’t know what she this feeling was
“I can’t do it” she then acknowledged
She wasn’t supposed to show emotion but she does

“Why not” he declared “It’s your job”
He was now feeling sad inside
He knew he had learned to love her somehow
And now there was no longer a reason to hide

“Why do I feel this way” he asked
“Why do I have the desire to be with you”
A tiny flash of vision appeared in Naka’s head
Then she knew it was true

“You’re him” she gasped
“Danyael …you’re Danyael” she cries
Scott blinked at her twice and was completely lost
As he watches the tears come once again from her eyes

How did she know his middle name
The name he never let anyone know
Taking a folded picture out of her pocket she gives it him
A picture of the two of them, is what it did show

“Where did you get this?” He demands
“So long ago, you loved me” she replied
With that said everything thing came back to Scott
Who she was, why he had love for her, he thought she died

“Why are you here Naka?” he eagerly asked
“Why do you have to kill me?”
He had to know the truth
Whatever it may be

“You are the only human there that day
When my people tried to make things right
They didn’t want us together, I loved you
They wanted to get rid of us that night

But it is against the law of my people
To kill an untargeted being
So they pretended to kill me instead
So that you’d go back to seeing

How you should live without me
They sent you back here
But now they want me kill you
They want you to disappear

But seeing you now brings back
Everything in my heart from before
I can’t bring myself to kill you
When it’s you that I adore.”

Within moments after she finished
The front door opened with a blast
Luthera, Naka’s boss, slowly walked in
“Naka, you just can’t let go of the past”

He quickly grabbed her by the arm
And held a gun to her head
“All you had to do is kill him, girl
But no...you just couldn’t do it” he said

Luthera looked at Scott
“She won’t live this time” he proclaimed with a glare
Scott knew it was either him or her
“Wait” he yelled with despair

Wanting to desperately save her
He offered his life for hers
Without hesitation, Luthera agreed
“If I don’t take her life I’ll take yours”

He then squeezed the trigger
Naka broke free and ran to Scott
The bullet went in her and out of him
And the both of them were shot

Luthera walked away like it was nothing
The deed had been done
Naka and Scott laid there cold on the floor
Two still apart as one

This is a story of a love
One unexpected and confusing
Two lovers from the past decide that it is
A love that is not worth losing
